About Kate

I started making Liberty print ties because my husband, father and brother have always worn them and my husbands ties were getting very worn out and threadbare. I remembered my granny making ties in the sixties one Christmas so thought I’d give it a go. The men were often complimented on their ties and asked where they had got them from. I decided to make a few more and Love From Kate started. I have always enjoyed sewing and knitting. I love wandering around a haberdashery department or choosing liberty fabrics or knitting wool and wondering what to make from them.

Liberty print ties are always popular for weddings. There are many different ways of choosing what to have, everyone in the same or same pattern but different colour ways. Do get in touch for options and ideas if you’re planning a wedding.

I hand make everything

The ties are made in the traditional way, cut on the cross, lined and interlined. The widest part of the tie measures approx 2.5 inches, length approx 57 inches. The bow ties have buttons at the back to adjust the neck size, all are dry clean only.

Each item is packaged in a ribbed cardboard pillow box which is compostable.
